Vedic Sanskrit is mainly found in Rigveda, Puranas and Upanishads. The Vedas were composed in the period from 1000 to 500 BC. The world’s first Sanskrit book is Rigveda. Some popular folk tales of India are in Sanskrit language. This language has a very systematic grammatical structure. Even the vowels and consonants are arranged in a scientific pattern. It is said that a person can express himself in Sanskrit, in just 1 word.
