At 104 years old, Hoffner has broken the world record of 103 years old, which was set in Sweden in 2022 by Linnéa Ingegärd Larsson. Age is just a number, is not it?

She was born on Dec. 17, 1918, in Chicago, just after World War I ended. She grew up poor, couldn’t afford college and worked for Illinois Bell, a telephone company.

Video of the jump shows Ms. Hoffner looking around with her eyes wide open under goggles and her baby blue sweater billowing as she parachutes down, seemingly relaxed.

@ The entire dive took seven minutes. @ She takes help of Walker to walk on land, keep this in mind.  @ "Wonderful," Hoffner said about being back on the ground.

Hoffner, who turns 105 this December, is not done trying new things. Her next move is to hopefully take a hot air balloon ride.
