During December 2022, Bridgette Wilson was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer. Statement from Pete as published by New York TImes.

Based on diagnosis, she had gone through Chemotherapy & is continuing with targeted maintenance therapy.

Sampras did mention that it is "hard to watch" his wife to through such challenge. She is running 50 currently.
